Per Kr. Andersen
Per Kr. Andersen is senior adviser in The Norwegian Directorate of Health, Specialized Health Care division, responsible for coordinating standardization work in the directorate and is liaison to Standards Norway. The directorate is coordinating health care standardization in Norway on behalf of The Norwegian Ministry of Health and Care Services.
He has his education from the Norwegian War Academy, the National Nursing College and Edinburgh School of Economics.
He has a wide experience from health care services, especially in the emergency area on ground and in air and has been department manager in the Norwegian National Hospital. He is former director of public services in Falck Rescue Company in Norway and leader of the Norwegian Air Ambulance. His combined experience from private and public, military and civil services is a basis for standardization work over 30 years.
He is convener of CEN TC 239 Rescue Services, Working group 1 - Road Ambulances and their equipment and Working Group 5 - Air Ambulances and is representative in CEN Advisory Board for Health Standardization - ABHS and to the joint ad hoc group between CEN Strategic Advisory Group on Services – SAGS and ABHS developing strategies for standardization of health care services.
