From 2003 in the Health Determinants unit, with responsibility for social and environmental determinants.

2005-2012: Head of Unit for Health Determinants, with responsibilities for nutrition and physical activity, alcohol, chronic diseases and wider determinants of health.
Since January 2013: Head of Unit Programme Management and Diseases. Responsible for the EU Health Programme and chronic diseases, including cancer, and rare diseases, as well as mental health.
