As Associate Director of Research at the Picker Institute, an international charity working across health and social care, Jenny is responsible for the organisation’s research work stream. This includes managing large scale academic related grant-funded projects and commissioned evaluations designed to create new knowledge and influence policy and practice in health and social care.
Jenny has eight years of experience carrying out qualitative and quantitative research exploring patient centred care, integrated care and staff experience.
A current project (2015), commissioned by The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), and in collaboration with the University of Oxford, aims to strengthen relational care provided in hospitals and to evaluate a real-time feedback approach for informing care delivery. The study addresses an urgent need for research that evaluates the introduction and impact of real-time feedback approaches in the NHS.
Jenny joined the Picker Institute in 2008 after completing an MSc in Forensic Psychology.
