ECIBC to unveil Breast Units survey results at EBCC-10

Breast Units in Europe differ with regards to requirements and organisational aspects. But also the knowledge and perception of what Breast Units can and should offer differs among authorities and patients. How can differences in perceptions help design future patient-centred requirements? On 9-11 March, at the 10th European Breast Cancer Conference (EBCC-10), the ECIBC presents the results of the survey on Implementation of Breast Units. This survey was co-organised by JRC, the chair of EBCC-10 - Fatima Cardoso, and Europa Donna - Susan Knox. The survey has the unique feature of having been run in parallel collecting answers from both Members States’ representatives and Europa Donna National Representatives.
