Within ECIBC, the Commission is developing evidence-based recommendations to support the European Breast QA scheme.

The European Breast Guidelines focus on breast cancer screening and diagnosis. Their scope defines the topics that they cover, such as which care processes and areas are included (read full Scope). Go to methodology

Methods of the ECIBC Platform of Guidelines for breast cancer care

The Guidelines Platform hosts existing high-quality guidelines, developed by entities external to the European Commission. They cover all breast cancer care processes, excluding screening and diagnosis. Guidelines dealing with screening and diagnosis are not included in the Platform, but might be used to underpin the European QA Scheme.
